Onion dip

This is so easy and so good!

Ingredients:
2 cups sliced onions (I like Vidalia)
2 cups shredded Asiago cheese
11/2 cup mayo (approximately)

Directions:
Preheat oven to 375.  Mix above ingredients in a mixing bowl.  The mayo should just moisten the onions and cheese.  (If you add too much mayo, it will become greasy on top when baking)  Pour into a 2 QT baking dish and bake at 375 for 35-45 min or until golden brown.  Serve with butter crackers like Town House.  (I like TJ round crackers)

  1. Do you think this will do well with ANY onion? My fave is purple (or red) I use them for everything and sub them in almost every recipe.
